About the Brazilian Competition

South America joined the international contingent in 2003 when concrete canoe racing began in Brazil.

The ninth annual BCCC took place on November 12 , 2011.  The competition was hosted by Positivo University in Curitiba.  The school is located in Southern Brazil and has one one of the largest campuses in South America.

Universidade Positivo's Concurso de Canoas de Concreto

The 9th Annual Concrete Canoe Competition (Concurso de Canoas de Concreto) was held in Cuririba.  The event was sponsored by Universidade Positivo which is located in Southern Brazil.  They have one of the largest campuses in South America and concrete canoe competitions have been taking place there since 2003.
