This Southeast Regional representative knows that It takes a strong theme to win at the national level.  Who is this team, what are the names of the canoes shown, and what theme did they select for 2005?

Did you know that the competition was driven to the national level in 1988 and more than 394 teams and nearly 6,800 students have participated at the national level.

Based on a recent survey, an estimated 4,000 teams and more than 38,000 students have entered the regional competitions in the hopes of qualifying.  Two new schools qualified in 2008 bringing the total number of schools that participated at the national level to 109.

Degussa Admixtures, Inc., formerly known as Master Builders Inc., served as the sole sponsor of the national competition for many years.  The company is respected as a technology leader, pioneering many advances and offering the widest range of concrete admixtures available from a single source.
